This specific patch is the highly collectible and rare early "Subdued on Twill" variation manufactured between 1965 and 1967, featuring an exposed olive drab cotton-twill fabric base rather than a fully embroidered background. It is in nice, field-used, uniform-removed condition with plenty of authentic "been-there" character. A foundational patch for any serious Vietnam War display!

Once proven, the division's assets were absorbed into the famed 1st Cavalry Division. Featuring a classic flat "Cut Edge," this two-piece set is in pristine, unissued condition.
