The reverse is stamped with the "V-21" hallmark, identifying it as a product of Vanguard Military Equipment Corp. Since the Institute of Heraldry introduced these alphanumeric codes in 1965, this badge perfectly dates to the Vietnam War era through the 1970s. It shows honest wear and a beautiful, authentic patina.
