This is a fascinating piece of Psychological Operations (PSYOP) history. We are offering an original Vietnam War Waterproof Bag bearing the message of the Chieu Hoi ("Open Arms") program. The bag features a silhouette of a bullet and instructions to open, indicating its use for keeping ammunition (likely M16 magazines) or personal kits dry. However, the Vietnamese text printed on the front is a plea to Viet Cong/NVA soldiers: "Chieu Hoi helps you meet your parents, wife, and children again in the peaceful scenery of a free, democratic Vietnam."
