Unused belt M 1936. Year of manufacture 1943. Length 110cm.

Unused US M1910 SHELTER HALF TENT with pole. The year of manufacture of the cell and pole is 1941.

Original unused USMC Paramarines parachute blouse - Uniform, utility, HBT, Camouflage (Parachutist). Size 38. The blouse was worn under a second type (camouflage) parachute coat. The fabric has two different shades of material on the back see photos.

Used General Purpose Ammo Bag. Year of manufacture 1945.

US Hatchet WW II

Lightly used USMC trousers in Frogskin (Duck Hunter) camouflage. These are pants from the test series before the introduction of the P1941 uniform. Waist 72cm, leg length from waist 100cm, leg length from crotch 74cm.

M1 Helmet from McCord Radiator Co. Heat Stamp 370D. Helmet has front seam and fixed loops. Liner is paper from Hawley with Rayon straps. See photo for condition.

Unused belt M1923 Garand. Unused condition - stored for a long time.

USMC cap P44 with wider visor. Size 7. Material HBT Herring Bone Twill. Used but nice condition.

Unused upper handguard for M1 carbine. Third type - 4 holes for bolt.

Unused bandolier for M1 Garand ammo from early production. Sand colour.

Used USMC Sage Green HBT Coverall from the first contract. This type of jumpsuit was also issued by the Paramarines and was worn with the first type of parachute paramarines jacket. The jumpsuit is used in several places is the name of the original owner. The size label is missing. Size for a figure of approximately 190cm.

High quality metal replica of AT M9A1 grenade.

Knife Robeson Shuredge No. 20 (USN Mark 1) with wooden pommel. The leather is not shrunken. Guard and pommel hold firmly.

Very nice Jungle Pack backpack in green. The backpack is very little used. On the back is the name and personal number of the original owner.

Lot of equipment of USMC member Charles T. Saffer, who served in the USMC from 1943 to 1945. See attached photo for description of duty assignment. Combat operations were spent by C. T. Saffer with the 2nd Marine Division artillery units. Equipment components are camouflaged in green.

These are original WWII era, warden type V-51R ear plugs that were used for artillery crews.   The case was designed to use when wearing gloves. They come new in the original box, never issued.

Unused M3 knife from Utica. The knife is marked on the guard. M8 scabbard made by B.M. Co. The scabbard is the first model without wire. The M1910 hook is only loosely inserted into the sheath eye.

Shortened M1910 blade for paratroopers. Very nice condition. Overall length 46cm.

A drinker for a field bottle. Material aluminium. The drinker is slightly larger than the US production. Marked M.M.S. 1945.

An American experimental World War II etocellulose canteen, dated 1943 and marked AICO.

In an attempt to produce a non-metallic canteen during World War II, the U.S. government attempted to produce a plastic canteen using Dow Chemical's etocellulose plastic. The canteen was manufactured by several government contractors, including AICO. Production of the canteens began in mid-1942 and production ceased in 1944.

Canteens were usually issued to troops in the Pacific. This canteen was commonly found in USMC units. The problem with the canteens was that they had a tendency to crack over time due to heat exposure. Also, the water they contained took on a bitter taste. To remove the aftertaste, soldiers commonly added baking soda to the water when filling the canteen.

 AICO produced only 4,400 of these canteens.
