Before the standardization of ERDL and Tiger Stripe, there was Duck Hunter. Known locally in Vietnam as "Beo Gam"(Leopard), this pattern is synonymous with the early advisory phase of the war. These trousers are a prime example of the commercial hunting gear ("Private Purchase") bought by GIs from catalogs like Sears or Kamo and taken in-country. They feature the classic spot camouflage on a light background, large patch pockets, and a button fly – a design favored for its comfort and breathability in the humid jungle. Perfect for a historical impression of a US Army Special Forces Advisor or a MACV-SOG operator. The fabric shows honest wear and a great vintage look that modern reproductions just can't match.
