I v tomto roce výroby (1971) si bunda zachovává žádané stříbrné hliníkové zipy (hlavní zip Scovill), které později nahradila mosaz. Značka Alpha Industries je mezi sběrateli často považována za "mercedes" mezi dodavateli M-65tek díky kvalitě zpracování a kultovnímu statusu. Součástí setu je originální odepínací tepelná vložka (Liner).
