The insignia of the Huey and Cobra heroes! Up for sale is a genuine, full-color shoulder patch (SSI) for the legendary 1st Aviation Brigade from the Vietnam War era. This is the highly desirable early variant featuring a flat "Cut Edge" border. The 1st Avn Bde was the backbone of American airmobile operations, operating the vast fleets of helicopters that defined the conflict. This patch is in pristine, unissued New Old Stock (NOS) condition with vibrant embroidery. A must-have for any Vietnam War or aviation gear collector.

While the official SF tab wasn't authorized until 1983, this piece originates from early experimental runs. It is woven with a teal/light blue background designed to perfectly "color-match" the iconic Special Forces arrowhead patch. This tab features classic vintage construction with a flat "Cut Edge" and a textbook white bobbin "snowy back." Lightly used with an authentic, "been there" patina. You won't find this at an average surplus show!

An incredibly scarce piece of Vietnam War history: An original ARVN (Army of the Republic of Vietnam) field shirt. Unlike US gear, surviving ARVN uniforms are very hard to find. This item was sourced directly from Vietnam, adding to its provenance. It is in "Salty" / combat-worn condition, featuring holes near the collar and a missing pocket button. The sleeve shows a distinct "Ghost Patch" outline where insignia was removed. Fits like a US Small.

This experimental unit existed only briefly from 1963 to 1965 to pioneer and test the revolutionary helicopter assault concepts that would define the Vietnam War. Once proven, the division's assets were absorbed into the famed 1st Cavalry Division. Featuring a classic flat "Cut Edge," this two-piece set is in pristine, unissued condition. A rare and highly significant slice of US Army Aviation history!
