Original US Army RANGER Tab (Full Color) | Cut Edge | 1960s
Description
Blood, sweat, and prestige woven into cloth.
-
The Elite Tab: Authorized in 1950, the Ranger tab is awarded to any soldier who successfully graduates from the physically and mentally exhausting US Army Ranger School.
-
1960s Construction: Unlike modern merrowed edge patches (which were widely introduced in the late 1960s), this tab features a traditional flat un-merrowed "Cut Edge", firmly dating it to the early-to-mid 60s.
-
Condition & Details: The front boasts the classic gold-on-black colorway. The reverse displays the textbook white return thread ("snowy back") indicative of mid-century US manufacturing. It shows light use with minor edge fraying, adding great "been there" combat character.
