Vintage 3rd Armored Division "Spearhead" Plaque | Cold War Germany

A museum-grade find: The Experimental Field Cargo Pack (Buttpack) from the 1954 EX-54 trials. This rare prototype is the direct forefather of the iconic M-1956 buttpack used in Vietnam. Produced in limited numbers for field testing, it features unique construction details and hardware distinctive to the 1954 experimental series.

Made from durable, heavy-weight cotton wind-resistant sateen in Olive Green. These legendary cargo pants feature a brass zipper fly, large thigh cargo pockets, and inner buttons for attaching a cold-weather liner. The white contract label clearly dates them to November 20, 1951. Size Medium Long. They are in used condition with a fantastic natural fade and patina, but boast no damage, holes, or missing hardware.

A superb example of the WWII Cattaraugus 225Q Knife, often referred to as the "Quartermaster" knife. Built heavier and stronger than the standard Ka-Bar, the 225Q was favored by commando units for its durability. It features a thick 6-inch blade clearly stamped Cattaraugus 225Q and a stacked leather washer handle. The signature feature is the heavy, waffle-patterned steel pommel, designed to be used as a hammer for opening crates. Comes with a period leather sheath.

This is a beautifully preserved, fully embroidered original featuring a flat "Cut Edge" and the classic white bobbin thread "snowy back." Sourced from an old collection, the front is in minty condition with vibrant color, while the reverse shows a small residue spot from mounting putty/glue where it was attached to a collector's display board. A fantastic piece for any WWII ETO collection!
