A true time capsule from the Korean War. This listing is for a Liner, Overcoat, Field, M-1950A in pristine condition. Made of heavy 100% wool frieze to withstand the freezing temperatures of the Korean peninsula. It features the correct open-underarm design for mobility and buttonholes for attachment to the outer shell. What sets this apart is the condition: it is New Old Stock (NOS) and still retains the original paper inspection/cutter tags stapled to the wool. The specification label is crisp, dating the item to 22 January 1951 and listing the manufacturer as A. Dubois And Son, Inc.. Size is a desirable Regular Large.
