The white contract label clearly dates them to November 20, 1951. Size Medium Long. They are in used condition with a fantastic natural fade and patina, but boast no damage, holes, or missing hardware.

The pommel still shows the Ordnance flaming bomb stamp. It comes complete with a transitional U.S.M8 fiberglass scabbard (B.M.CO.) equipped with the M1910 wire hanger. This piece features a fantastic, unusual field modification/repair: A rugged, hand-sewn canvas band, made of contrasting white/natural material, has been added around the mouth of the pouch to reinforce the opening. This modification, likely performed in the field during WWII, makes this a 100% unique item with incredible provenance. In well-used, "salty" combat-condition.
