Description

We are offering a highly collectible US Army uniform grouping from the Vietnam War. Provenance is guaranteed by the identical Laundry Mark B0200X on both pieces.

  • Unit Insignia (The "Spook" connection): The shirt features the 101st Airborne SSI paired with the rare US Army Security Agency (ASA) combat patch (claw clutching lightning). ASA troops in Vietnam conducted SIGINT and electronic warfare, often operating under the cover name "Radio Research Units" (RRU).

  • Shirt: OG-107 Cotton Sateen. Features desirable "In-Country Made" (theater produced) embroidered name tapes. Size 15 ½ x 31 (Neck ~39–40 cm).

  • Trousers: Contract DSA-100-624 (Year 1967). Size 32 x 31 (Waist ~81–82 cm, Inseam ~79 cm).

  • Cap: Size 7 (~56 cm).

    Inflatable lifeboat for one person, type LRU-3/P, USAF MIL-L-8664B(WP). Manufactured by Rubber Fabricators Inc. (contract DAAK01-67-C-916. Date of manufacture: 1967. Size is approximately 1.6 x 0.9 x 0.3 m max. (inflated, but with covers and bottom chambers folded down). Black and orange rubber construction with one inflatable chamber and additional stabilizing chambers underneath and nylon covers. The boat comes with the original sea anchor/brake (specification no. MIL-A-3339A). The boat is in decent condition, holds air, but is intended for collector's purposes only and is not recommended for regular use on water. The boat can be inflated using a car pump.
