Description
A pristine example of Vietnam War aviation survival gear. This is the Shirt, Flyer's, Hot Weather, Fire Resistant, commonly known as the "Nomex Shirt." Worn by helicopter crews and pilots who required fire protection but preferred a two-piece uniform over the standard flight suit.

Provenance: The label clearly shows contract DSA 100-71-C-1435 (Year 1971).

Condition: Mint / Unissued. The fabric retains its original sheen and texture, velcro is clean, and tags are crisp. Hard to upgrade.
