Short Description: An original piece of diving history. The legendary floating AquaSharp knife by U.S. Divers. A vintage collectible from the mid-20th century in used, but very good condition.

Product Description: This knife is a true icon from the golden age of scuba diving. Produced in the 1950s and 60s, the AquaSharp was designed with a specific floating handle (wood/cork composition) to ensure it wouldn't sink if dropped underwater.

It serves as a perfect addition for vintage gear collectors or as a unique display piece. The knife comes with its original sheath, featuring the classic leather belt loop and plastic tip protector.

Condition: Used – Very Good Condition. This item has been well-preserved. Unlike many surviving examples that show heavy saltwater corrosion, this knife is in great shape. The handle retains its color and finish, and the blade shows only minor signs of age typical for a vintage item. A beautiful collector's piece.

Used blouse (Coat, Man's, Cotton, Wind Resistant Rip-Stop Poplin). Size Medium Long. Contract DSA 100-68-C-2821. Army and name patch are "in country made". The Special Forces shoulder patch is a regular Army issue. Blouse has several repairs see photo.

M7 bayonet from Imperial. Metal parts are chrome-plated. Bayonet only, without scabbard.

Used LIFE PRESERVER YOKE inflatable vest. Year of manufacture: 1961. One snap fastener from the packaging is broken.

XM3 bipod for M-16 rifle. With pouch and cleaning kit. Manufacturer Colt.

Used M1967 mag pouches for 20rnd magazines for M-16. Mag pouches are in used condition but complete with straps and a working undamaged plastic clasp.

AN/QSG-126 Inert/School Acoustic Detector AN/QSG-126 Detection Transmitting Set Acoustic. The detector was dropped from the aircraft to the suspected NVA/Vietcong site. Nice condition, stabilizing ailerons are still taped over with paper tape. Year of manufacture 1968. Shipping only within the EU. This T61-5 body armor, officially designated MIL-A-43197, represents a fascinating chapter in military equipment history. Developed in the mid-1960s, the T61-5 was designed to be a more ergonomic and flexible successor to the older M1952A model. Its innovative construction featured over 100 individual titanium plates, intended to provide superior protection and comfort.

Although it officially became the U.S. Army's standard-issue vest "on paper" in 1965, it never saw widespread adoption in reality. With the escalation of the Vietnam War, the T61-5 proved too expensive and complex to manufacture for mass deployment. The Army instead opted for a simpler, cheaper, updated version of the M1952A (the "3/4 collar" model).

Despite being an Army design, the T61-5 found its primary use elsewhere. It became characteristic equipment for the U.S. Navy's "Brown Water Navy" units operating in the rivers and coastal areas of Vietnam from 1966 onwards. It was also used by some U.S. Army mechanized infantry, armor, and armored cavalry units between 1969-1971.

This vest is an exceptional and rare collector's item, documenting the push for innovation in personal protection during one of the most significant conflicts of the 20th century.

Cover for 2qt water bag Canteen Collapsible 2 Quart Capacity. FSN 8465-J22-0002. Manufactured by Latex Corp. Contract No. DA 19-129-QM-2044. The bag has rust stains on it but is otherwise undamaged.

Used 1Q field bottle from 1969. The cover has a cotton trim.

Unused original green beret for US. Special Forces. Size 7 1/8. Contract DSA100-68-C-0965. The beret comes from the estate of a Special Forces member named Norton who served in the US. Army from Vietnam to the 1990s.
