Dear customers, orders will temporarily be shipped once a week, approximately in the middle of the week. Thank you for your understanding.

We are offering a scarce artifact from the "Other War" in Vietnam. The HT-2A Handie-Talkie was the lifeline for isolated villages under the Strategic Hamlet Program.

  • Provenance: Unlike standard issues like the PRC-25, these radios represent the Counter-Insurgency (COIN)effort. They were supplied by the CIA and fielded by Special Forces advisors to train and equip local Montagnard and Vietnamese defenders (CIDG).

  • Purpose: Designed for simplicity and ruggedness, allowing village chiefs or militia leaders to transmit an immediate distress signal to the nearest SF A-Camp or artillery base when under siege.

  • Significance: Owning an HT-2A connects you directly to the history of the Green Berets and their work with indigenous forces.

  • Condition: (Add details, e.g., "Used surplus condition, display item only").
