Rare US Army Experimental CCU Uniform Set | Woodland Camo | 2003 Trial | Size Small-Short | Mint
Description
A scarce transitional uniform connecting the BDU and ACU eras.
-
The Item: Genuine Close Combat Uniform (CCU) set. Produced under contract DAAD16-03-F-0160. This uniform was short-lived and served as the direct testbed for the ACU cut.
-
Features: Unlike the BDU, this uniform features the "ACU-style" cut: zippered front, mandarin collar with velcro, tilted chest pockets, and velcro-faced shoulder pockets.
-
Trousers: Feature tilted cargo pockets with elastic retention and calf pockets.
-
Rarity: Primarily issued to the 2nd Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade) for deployment to Iraq. Most were worn out; finding a matching set in this condition is exceptional.
