The contract number dates these specifically to 2007, during the height of deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. These thick, off-white/cream knit socks are made from a rugged blend of 80% Wool and 20% Cotton. Designed to provide maximum cushioning and thermal comfort inside heavy combat boots. Size 7. Clean, warm socks keep the army marching.

History & Usage: The DSCP supplied the US Armed Forces during Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. The contract marking "SPM1C1-07" precisely dates this production run to 2007. They were manufactured in the USA by Special T. Hosiery, Inc., North Carolina.
Material & Construction: The tag confirms the classic military blend: 80% Wool and 20% Cotton. Wool provides excellent insulation even when wet, while cotton adds durability. These are heavily cushioned "Cushion-Sole" socks, designed to prevent blisters and absorb shock during long foot patrols.
Condition & Packaging: A true time capsule. The socks have never been worn or unwrapped. They are held together by the original paper wrapper featuring the DSCP logo and the motto "Supporting America's Fighting Forces".
Sizing: The label reads "FITS SIZE 7" (US Men's Size 7).
