An exceptional, complete US Marine Corps Dress Blue uniform set dated 1956. Includes the tunic (badged to a Sergeant with 8 years of service, complete with golden EGA collar brass) and the matching NCO trousers featuring the red "Blood Stripe". Tunic is a very small size (approx XS long), while the trousers are stamped 34 35 (approx 34" waist). Museum-quality condition.

This is the highly desirable mid-war "Guard Marked" variation. The knife is in beautiful used condition, showing a "salty" combat patina on both the blade and the stacked leather handle. The pommel bears a crisp Ordnance flaming bomb stamp. It comes complete with an original U.S.M8 scabbard featuring a transitional M1910 wire hanger. Crucially, the reverse of the scabbard and webbing features hand-painted "rack numbers" (or laundry numbers), proving this knife saw actual service. A premium piece for any WWII US Airborne collector!

This is not a standard issue item, but a fascinating period field repair (a "Frankenstein" or rigger-made piece). The base panel features a crisp, clear WWI stamp dating to September 1918, to which pouches from different belt models (WWI and WWII) have been attached using crude field stitching. This is a piece of gear that clearly went through hell and was kept in the fight by resourceful armorers. A true gem for advanced US militaria collectors!
