Sourced from an old collection, the front is in minty condition with vibrant color, while the reverse shows a small residue spot from mounting putty/glue where it was attached to a collector's display board. This piece features a fantastic, unusual field modification/repair: A rugged, hand-sewn canvas band, made of contrasting white/natural material, has been added around the mouth of the pouch to reinforce the opening. This modification, likely performed in the field during WWII, makes this a 100% unique item with incredible provenance. In well-used, "salty" combat-condition.
