Description

This is an authentic piece of K-9 history. We are offering an original USGI Military Working Dog Leash from the Vietnam War era. Constructed from heavyweight cotton webbing (pre-nylon era), this leash was the standard issue for handlers of Scout and Sentry dogs. It features a massive, heavy-duty steel swivel snap hook. Critical stress points near the clip are reinforced with riveted leather to withstand the pull of a working German Shepherd. The item is in unused, mint condition, clean and coiled. A rare find, as most field-used leathers rotted or were worn out in the jungle environment shown in the reference photo.
