A fantastic piece of late Vietnam War history. This is an original 3rd Pattern Jungle Fatigue Coat made of Rip-Stop Cotton Poplin, dated to 1970.
It features a highly desirable insignia configuration:

Shoulder: 101st Airborne Division SSI with the "Airborne" tab. This patch features the merrowed edge, which became standard around 1968, making it period-correct for this 1970 jacket.

Chest: Subdued Senior Army Aviator Badge (Wings with Star) embroidered directly or sewn onto the fabric, indicating an experienced helicopter pilot.

Tapes: Features the classic late-war Nylon (synthetic) name tape "ROBINSON" and US ARMY tape, known for their durability and distinct sheen.
