Unlike standard combat uniforms, this jacket is designed specifically for the rifle range, featuring integrated recoil padding on the right shoulder and huge padded patches on the elbows for comfort in the prone position. This example is dated 1983 and is in Unused / Mint condition.

This is a complete 3-piece modular set featuring the outer shell (dated 1982), a warm quilted liner from the Vietnam era (1973), and a wire-framed hood with synthetic fur ruff (1979). The jacket boasts vibrant, rich colors and is in great vintage condition. There are a few tiny, pinhole-sized spark holes on the chest (see photos) that add to its authentic character. A timeless piece of outerwear.
