Description

An exceptionally rare piece of US Army uniform history. This is the Flame Resistant ACU Coat in the experimental UCP-Delta pattern.

  • Background: Developed in 2009 as a "UCP fix" for Afghanistan, this pattern added Coyote Brown to the digital mix. It was field-tested by the 2nd Batt, 87th Inf Regt (10th Mountain Div) but ultimately lost out to Multicam. Very few garments were made, and fewer survived.

  • Condition: Mint / New With Tags. It retains the original "Defender M" paper hangtag, making it a museum-quality example.

  • Specs: Contract W911QY-09-C-0203 (2009 production) by American Apparel. Made of FR Rayon/Para-Aramid/Nylon blend.
