Description

Step back into the golden era of U.S. Special Operations at the turn of the millennium and the dawn of Operation Enduring Freedom. Fielded under USSOCOM in 1998, the SPEAR ELCS (Equipment Load Carrying System) revolutionized load-bearing modularity and paved the way for modern MOLLE gear. While standard Basic Kits catered to M4/M16 riflemen, US Navy SEAL platoons required specialized loadouts tailored for Maritime Interdiction / VBSS (Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure), CQB, and heavy jungle/mountain fire support.
To meet these exact mission profiles, the highly coveted Accessory Kit – Navy Option was born—now considered a true Holy Grail among Old Gen NSW collectors. Finished in classic M81 Woodland camouflage, this complete 6-pouch set includes the iconic mission-specific components that defined early 2000s SEAL loadouts:

2x Pouch, MP-5 Ammo (3 Mag, 30 Rd): Features three individual channels for 30-round 9mm submachine gun magazines with hook-and-loop and webbing retention flaps. Note the signature maritime feature on the lower back—a row of six heavy-duty drainage grommets designed for rapid water evacuation during amphibious/VBSS operations.
2x Pouch, M-14 Ammo (3 Mag, 20 Rd): Built to hold three 7.62x51mm box magazines with an internal divider, secured via a heavy-duty side-release buckle and protective side flaps to keep out debris.
2x Pouch, M-60/SAW, 100 Rd: High-capacity utility/ammo pouch designed for 100-round belts for the iconic M60E3/Mk43 Mod 0 machine gun (a staple of SEAL firepower) or M249 SAW drums, complete with dual bottom drain holes and Fastex buckle closure.

Every pouch is manufactured by Safariland Ltd., Inc. under official USSOCOM contract USZA22-98-D-0008 from rugged, IR-treated 1000D Cordura nylon. This kit is in pristine Mint / Unissued (NOS) condition—never fielded, featuring crisp rubberized data tags, vibrant camo print, and untouched black oxide finish on all metal snaps. An unrepeatable chance to complete your museum-grade SPEAR ELCS collection!
