Inner suspensions and sweatbands are usually the first components to degrade or get ruined by sweat on vintage military helmets. If you are restoring a legendary American PASGT Kevlar helmet (affectionately known as the "Fritz"), we have the most critical replacement part for you: a genuine US military issue Headband. This is a purebred military original, supplied in its factory-sealed plastic packaging (NOS condition) complete with the paper label bearing a crisp 1998 SPO contract. What makes this particular piece an interesting tidbit for collectors is the manufacturer: the Susquehanna Association for the Blind. This is a respected American sheltered workshop for the blind that has proudly supplied high-quality gear to the US military for decades. The headband comes in a universal size (adjusting perfectly to fit Small, Medium, and Large helmets) and snaps into the helmet's suspension in seconds. Toss out that crusty old sweatband and breathe new life and ultimate comfort into your lid with this 100% American original!
