The ultimate cold-weather layering piece from the "Old Corps" of the US Navy.

  • Construction: The outer shell is made of wind-resistant cotton canvas. The interior is fully lined with a thick, dark brown alpaca and wool blend pile designed to keep sailors warm on freezing decks.

  • Hardware: Equipped with a fully functional, heavy-duty brass CONMAR bell-shaped zipper, a hallmark of 1940s and 1950s military production. The original neck tag is present but washed blank.

  • Condition ("Salty"): This vest tells a story. It shows true field/deck wear with scattered light spots and stains (likely deck paint) on the front and back. However, there are no rips, and the alpaca pile is still thick.

  • Fit: Fits like a modern men's Small.
