A superb example of the classic USMC P-44 HBT Utility Coat, highly prized by collectors. This jacket features the distinctive large side-entry chest pockets originally designed for flotation bladders. A key historical detail is that the internal gas flap has been removed, a very common "in-country" modification done by Marines to improve ventilation. The sleeves feature authentic, hand-applied Sergeant chevrons, adding immense character. Original "U.S. MARINE CORPS" donut buttons are intact. Tagged size 38.
