We are offering a pristine example of the USMC P1944 Camouflage Trousers, the definitive late-war Marine uniform.

  • The "Monkey" Pocket: Features the large, three-flap rear pocket designed to carry a poncho. Finding examples with this pocket intact and unmodified is becoming increasingly difficult.

  • First Type Configuration: This pair represents the early production run, distinguished by the presence of belt loops, which were sometimes omitted or modified on later/transitional garments.

  • Construction: Made of heavy-duty Herringbone Twill (HBT). Fully reversible from Jungle (Green) to Beach (Brown) camouflage.

  • Hardware: Correct blackened copper/steel buttons stamped "U.S. Marine Corps".

  • Significance: Worn during the bloodiest island hopping campaigns of 1944 and 1945.
