A pristine, unissued pair of World War II U.S. Military Ski-Mountain goggles. Manufactured by the famous Foster Grant Co. Features dark teardrop lenses to prevent snow blindness, thick faux-fur lining to prevent frostbite, and an adjustable nose bridge. Comes complete in its original F.G. Co. marked carrying pouch with the rare factory cardboard lens protector still present. Perfect New Old Stock condition.

Description

The ultimate display piece for a 10th Mountain Division or Battle of the Bulge collection.

  • Construction: Classic teardrop design featuring dark tinted lenses. The thick, plush fur lining was designed to keep the soldier's face warm and prevent the metal frames from freezing to the skin. Features a fully adjustable center bridge strap and an olive drab elastic headband.

  • The Pouch: Includes the original brown pebble-grain pouch. The top flap is crisply stamped "F.G. CO.", signifying the manufacturer, Foster Grant Co.

  • Condition: Unissued / NOS. The fur is clean, and the elastic retains its stretch. Incredibly, it still includes the original die-cut cardboard insert used at the factory to protect the lenses during shipping.
