An authentic World War II U.S. Military Jungle Pack constructed of standard Olive Drab (OD) green canvas. Originally designed for the Pacific, these roomy packs were heavily favored and widely issued in the European Theater (ETO) as well. This pack exhibits honest combat wear and features several small, period hand-stitched field repairs. All webbing and hardware are intact. A fantastic "salty" piece for any GI display.

Description

A veteran piece of canvas that clearly saw action in the field.

  • Design: Features a cavernous main compartment secured by a grommeted drawstring. The pack has sewn-on, adjustable shoulder suspenders and multiple exterior web straps and loops for attaching gear like an entrenching tool.

  • Special Features: Under the main top flap sits a hidden compartment secured by a heavy-duty metal zipper.

  • Condition: Field-used / Salty. The canvas shows a great patina and several neat, period-correct hand-stitched repairs where the fabric snagged or tore during service. Structurally sound for display or careful reenactment use.
