Genuine World War II era U.S. Army M-1928 Pack Carrier (the lower attachment for the Haversack). Designed to carry the GI's blanket roll and shelter half. Made of heavy olive drab canvas with a bold "U.S." stamp. In perfect, unissued New Old Stock (NOS) condition with crisp 1944 manufacturer markings. Please note: The coupling strap is missing.

An essential component for completing a WWII U.S. infantryman's full field pack.

  • Design: This canvas "tail" attaches to the bottom of the M-1928 Haversack. It features all the necessary web straps and metal hardware to secure a rolled blanket and tent. The front bears a bold, dark "U.S." stencil.

  • Markings: The folded upper edge boasts exceptionally crisp ink stamps from contractors B.B. CO. and CENTRAL SLIPPER, both distinctly dated 1944.

  • Condition: Unissued / NOS. The canvas is rigid and the colors are vibrant. Metal hardware is rust-free. Note: The separate coupling strap that weaves this to the main pack is not included.
