"Shoulder savers" from the end of the war. These heavy-duty canvas pads were essential for GIs hauling heavy loads, designed to slide over the thin straps of the M-1936 Musette Bag or general-purpose carrying straps. We are offering a selection of 1945 dated pads in pristine New Old Stock (NOS) condition. Available makers include:

Kroehler Mfg. Co.
C. W. Breneman (noted for distinct stitching)
Decatur Tent & Awning Co. The ink stamps are crisp and legible. The canvas retains its original texture and color (ranging from OD Green to transitional Khaki/Tan on the Decatur pads). A small but crucial detail for any serious field gear display or historical impression.
