A blade with a true frontline story! We are offering a genuine WWII US M3 Trench Knife manufactured by the renowned PAL Blade & Tool Co. This is the 1944 "Guard Marked" variation. This knife is a certified "salty" combat veteran—the blade shows honest signs of period field sharpening, and the stacked leather handle has a deep, dark patina from heavy use. The pommel still shows the Ordnance flaming bomb stamp. It comes complete with a transitional U.S.M8 fiberglass scabbard (B.M.CO.) equipped with the M1910 wire hanger. An excellent, character-rich piece for any WWII US Airborne collector or reenactor looking for that "been there" look!

Steel that saw the gritty reality of WWII.

  • PAL Maker: PAL Blade & Tool Co. was a major wartime contractor, providing essential edged weapons to US forces.

  • Guard Marked Detail: The "U.S. M3 / PAL" stamping is located on the crossguard, a production change implemented in 1944. The pommel bears the standard Ordnance flaming bomb.

  • "Salty" Condition: This knife has clearly seen heavy field use. The carbon steel blade has lost its parkerized finish and displays clear marks of period sharpening. The stacked leather handle is heavily darkened and worn smooth from sweat and dirt, yet it remains solid and fully functional.

  • Transitional M8 Scabbard: Includes the original fiberglass scabbard stamped U.S.M8 B.M.CO.. Notably, while stamped M8, it features the M1910 wire hanger, making it a highly desirable transitional or field-modified piece prior to the M8A1 standard.
