A pristine piece of 1944 history.

  • Imperial's Signature Spacers: The Imperial Knife Co. of Providence, R.I., uniquely utilized thick black plastic/bakelite spacers at both ends of the leather handle (behind the guard and in front of the pommel). This is a highly desirable identifying feature for collectors.

  • Guard Marked: The crisp stamping "US M3 / IMPERIAL" is located on the crossguard, dating the production to 1944 or later.

  • "Near Mint" Condition: The blade has its full original profile, has never been field-sharpened, and maintains its stunning factory parkerization. The leather handle is tight, healthy, and perfectly preserved.

  • M8A1 Scabbard (VP): The original scabbard is stamped U.S. M8A1 B.M.CO. on the throat. The back of the fiberglass body bears the clear "VP" (Victory Plastics) logo. The OD canvas webbing and M1910 wire hanger are incredibly clean with zero fraying.
