A scarce and historically significant shoulder patch: The WWII Original Scroll of the 3rd Ranger Battalion. Part of "Darby's Rangers," the 3rd Bn fought in Sicily and Italy before being decimated alongside the 1st and 4th Battalions at the Battle of Cisterna (Anzio) in 1944. This patch features authentic wartime construction: embroidered on wool felt with a Cut Edge (non-merrowed) border. The reverse shows the correct "Snowy Back" stitching.
