Features the classic stacked leather handle and comes with its correct, hard fiberglass Mk2 scabbard. The blade shows honest field sharpening, but importantly, the tip remains sharp and has not been rounded off. A fantastic, "salty" collectible.

Description

A solid Pacific-theater veteran ready for display.

The Blade: Stamped "U.S. NAVY" on the obverse ricasso and "RH - PAL (Made in U.S.A.) - 37" on the reverse. The blade has been field-sharpened and has a dark age patina, but retains an excellent, un-rounded point.
The Handle: Constructed of grooved stacked leather washers. It features the signature PAL colored (red/black) spacers at the crossguard and the heavy steel peened pommel.
The Scabbard: Includes the period-correct U.S.N. gray/green fiberglass scabbard with a metal throat and canvas web belt loop. The retaining snap is fully functional.
Condition: Field Used / Salty. Shows honest combat wear and immense character.
