An incredible, authentic World War II era PAL RH-36 utility/combat knife. The absolute centerpiece of this item is the original leather sheath, heavily customized with GI "Trench Art". Hand-tooled by the soldier, it features the moniker "Billy THE Greek", his hometown "PROVIDENCE R. I.", and "Greetings from" with a drawing of a wolf on the back. Stacked leather handle. True salty history.

A one-of-a-kind museum-quality piece of personalized GI history.

  • The Knife: The classic 6-inch blade is boldly stamped RH - PAL (Made in U.S.A.) - 36 on the ricasso. The blade shows honest field sharpening and age. The handle features the traditional stacked leather washers and an aluminum pommel.

  • The Sheath (Trench Art): The original leather scabbard has been deeply customized. The front proudly displays the name "Billy THE Greek" inside a diamond motif, flanked by "PROVIDENCE R. I.". The reverse belt loop area is etched with "Greetings from" alongside a stylized profile of a wolf or dog head. Retention snap is intact.

  • Condition: Field-used / Vintage. Structurally sound with a gorgeous, uncleaned patina.
