An incredibly rare surviving piece of World War II U.S. Army Medical Department field gear. This pneumatic (inflatable) hospital pillow was manufactured by the International Latex Corporation (ILC Dover)—the very same company that would later design the Apollo space suits for NASA! Surviving in remarkable New Old Stock (NOS) condition, the latex remains soft and pliable.

  • Markings: Boasts a crisp, highly legible blue manufacturer's stamp: "INTERNATIONAL LATEX CORPORATION / DOVER DELAWARE U.S.A.".

  • Condition: Unissued / NOS. Perfect for display on a medical cot or in a medic's trunk.
