A fantastic piece of early war history. This is the Suit, One Piece, HBT, often associated with the formative years of the US Airborne and Armored forces (1941-1942). Before the standardization of the M1942 jump suit, these heavy-duty coveralls were issued for testing and combat use.

  • Distinctive Feature: Features the vertical pass-through slot behind the left chest pocket, designed to allow access to a knife or wire cutters carried on the under-uniform.

  • Named: The original owner's name, R.H. FELDMEIER, is clearly stenciled on the chest, offering excellent research potential.

  • Condition: Shows authentic patina and field use. Several of the original 13-star tack buttons have been replaced with period alternatives (marked "ALLEN" or plain), indicating the suit saw active service and maintenance.
