A quintessential piece of WWII field gear. This is an original M1916 Leather Holster for the M1911A1 .45 pistol.

  • Provenance: The rear belt loop is stamped with the date 1944. The maker's mark is faint due to age and wear, but the date is legible.

  • Features: Features the classic embossed "US" in an oval on the front flap. Includes the standard M1910 wire belt hanger for attachment to the pistol belt.

  • Condition: The holster is in good used condition. The leather has darkened with age and oiling, creating a desirable vintage look. The stitching remains intact, and the leather is pliable, not brittle.
