A centerpiece for any advanced WWII collection.

  • The Hawley Liner: Made of compressed fiber. Due to their fragility, very few survived. This example shows the expected chipping and wear on the rim, consistent with an original 80-year-old paper artifact.

  • Rayon Webbing: Distinguished by its white/silver sheen and specific weave pattern, distinct from later cotton OD webbing.

  • The Shell: McCord Radiator Co., Front Seam, Fixed Bale.

  • Condition: Shell is solid. Liner displays honest age-related damage typical for Hawley models.
