A highly sought-after, authentic World War II U.S. Military Herringbone Twill (HBT) utility jacket. This is the desirable early-war "1st Pattern" (M1941) featuring pleated chest pockets and waist take-up straps. It comes in a fantastic, highly wearable Size 42R and boasts genuine period-stenciled Sergeant chevrons on the sleeves. Complete with original 13-star metal buttons. An exceptional piece for an early-war ETO or Pacific theater display.

A premium piece of early WWII combat apparel in a rare large size.

  • The Design (1st Pattern): Characterized by its tailored lapel collar, bi-swing action back, and two pleated chest pockets with button flaps. It also features the adjustable hip straps with metal buckles. All original blackened 13-star metal buttons are present.

  • Markings & Personalization: The inside collar is crisply stamped with the incredibly rare size 42R and features a handwritten GI laundry number (B5660). The sleeves display period-correct, black stenciled Sergeant stripes.

  • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The HBT fabric remains strong with great color retention and only minor, honest wear.
