A pristine accessory for the legendary "US Automatic Pistol, Caliber .30, Model of 1918".

The "Secret Weapon": The Pedersen Device was designed to convert the bolt-action Springfield rifle into a semi-automatic trench sweeper. While most devices were destroyed in 1931, the accessories remain highly sought after.
Item: This 5-cell canvas pouch was designed to be worn on the cartridge belt. It holds the long stick magazines utilized by the device.
Markings: Features crisp, black ink stamps: "R.I.A. 9-19", indicating manufacture by Rock Island Arsenal in September 1919.
Condition: Mint / Unissued. The canvas is stiff and clean, the "Lift-the-Dot" snap retains its finish, and the markings are perfect.
