Description

An authentic Vietnam War era Jet Pilot Survival Knife manufactured by Camillus in May 1967. This example features a rare atypical sheath configuration: no sharpening stone pocket, but includes the metal tip protector. Leather handle is in excellent condition.

Detailed Description: We are offering a genuine US Jet Pilot Survival Knife made by Camillus. The hexagonal pommel is clearly stamped 5-1967, placing its production at the height of the Vietnam War.

  • Rare Sheath Variant: This knife is paired with a highly unusual atypical leather sheath. Unlike the standard issue, it was manufactured without the sharpening stone pocket, yet it retains the metal tip protector plate at the bottom. This represents a scarce variation for collectors.

  • Condition: Used condition with honest wear. Notably, the stacked leather handle is not dried out; the washers are tight and well-preserved.

  • Specs: 5-inch blade (parkerized finish worn), steel hex pommel, leather washer handle.
