USGI M65 Field Jacket | Rare 1967 Brass Zipper | Chief Apparel | Patched | Med-Long
Description
This is a collector's "unicorn" M65. A 1967 Dated Field Jacket (Contract DSA 100-67-C-0249) manufactured by Chief Apparel. The rarity lies in the hardware: While 1967 jackets typically feature aluminum zippers, this specific small contract was factory-fitted with Brass Zippers (Talon branded main zip), a feature that didn't become standard until the 70s. Condition: Superb. The OG-107 Cotton/Nylon Sateen retains a deep, vivid green color, showing very little fading.Provenance: Fully patched for SGT Chambers. Features a 4th Infantry Division combat patch (Right Sleeve - Vietnam Service) and a Colorado Army National Guard unit patch (Left Sleeve). Size: Long Medium (Height 71"+, Chest 37-41").
