A museum-quality piece of Airborne field gear from the height of the Vietnam War. This is the M-1950 Adjustable Weapons Case, designed to protect and secure rifles (M14, M16) during parachute operations.

Provenance: The stencil is crisp and clearly legible: "PACK, PARACHUTISTS, WEAPONS AND INDIVIDUAL EQUIPMENT". It bears the contract DSA 100-68-C-2076, dating it to MARCH 1968. Manufactured by Kings Point Ind. Inc.

Condition: Unissued / New Old Stock. The heavy OD canvas is stiff and clean. The distinctive yellow "TOP ->"orientation stencil is bright and unblemished.
