Description

A mint condition piece of 1990s US infantry gear. This is the IIFS (Individual Integrated Fighting System) Grenade Carrier Vest, designed for the M203 grenadier. Unlike the full-mesh vests of the 80s, this vest features a more robust nylon construction with an open-back design for heat management.

  • Capacity: Designed to carry 18 rounds of 40mm High Explosive (HE) or pyrotechnic ammunition in snap-closure pouches.

  • Provenance: The label is crisp and clearly dated to 1997 (Contract SP0100-97-D-4001).

  • Material: 100% Nylon in the classic Woodland (M81) pattern.

  • Condition: New Old Stock (NOS). Never worn, stiff nylon, perfect for a high-end collection.
