Description

A piece of modern naval history. We are offering an original US Navy Flak Vest, Mark 1 Mod 0. These vests were issued to shipboard personnel and deck crews for protection against fragmentation and shrapnel.

Construction: Made from ballistic nylon in the distinctive Navy "Deck Grey" color. The vest features a split-front design with heavy-duty velcro and snap closures.
Features: Includes a high collar for neck protection, shoulder stops for gear retention, and elastic side panels for a secure fit.
Provenance: The internal label is clearly marked with a manufacturing date of January 2001, placing it just before the onset of the GWOT era. Manufactured by H&S Manufacturing, Inc.
