A scarce and intriguing variant of the US Master Parachutist Badge. Featuring the signature Star and Wreath above the canopy, designating the "Master" qualification (65+ jumps). While Army badges are standard silver, this piece features a Gold finish, typically associated with USMC personnel (who wear gold insignia) or Army Mess Dress uniforms. The badge shows honest wear and beautiful patina, with the gold plating partially rubbed off to reveal the base metal.

The set comes from the estate of a Special Forces member named Norton who served in the US. Army from Vietnam to the 1990s. Used but nice condition.
