A prime example of 90s/early 2000s "Private Purchase" gear, these suspenders offer a massive comfort upgrade over standard GI issue: heavily padded, wide shoulder straps that prevent digging under heavy loads. "Private Purchase" History: Just like commercial pouches and canteen covers, troops bought these suspenders at the PX or from tactical catalogs to match their desert uniforms and to replace uncomfortable standard-issue gear during operations in the Middle East.
The Comfort Upgrade: The standout feature is the thick, wide padding on the shoulder sections. Unlike the thin LC-2 webbing, this commercial padding distributes the weight of heavy ammo and water perfectly.
"Y-Harness" Design: The classic Y-back configuration. The front features two metal D-rings, perfect for hanging a compass pouch, strobe, or flashlight on your chest.
Attachment: Fully adjustable nylon webbing terminates in four heavy-duty, blackened metal snap hooks to secure to your pistol belt and ammo pouches.
Condition: Perfect New Old Stock (NOS). Never worn, zero wear on the hardware or fabric.
